Kiln Dried Stacking Sticks

The Kiln Dried Stacking Sticks we produce are a revolution in the industry and have been reducing sticker stain and increasing the quality of dried lumber for over 20 years.

Expertise

Drying Quality

At J.W. Goodfellow, every board is cared for from the moment it arrives. Freshly sawn green lumber is stickered within 24 hours and air-dried under cover for 1–6 weeks. From there, it moves into our state-of-the-art dehumidification kilns, where it’s precision-dried to a stable 6–8% moisture content. The result: dependable, high-quality lumber that performs the way you expect.

Lumber Inspection

Quality starts with expertise. Our team of NHLA-certified inspectors brings over 80 years of combined experience to the grading process. That knowledge ensures every load we ship meets the highest industry standards, giving our customers confidence and consistency in every board foot.

Ripping /Surfacing/Flooring

We provide advanced machining and value-added services to deliver lumber exactly the way you need it:

  • High-speed surfacing (S2S) with helical knife planers for uniform thickness.
  • Straight-line and multiple ripping (SLR2E) for precision edge work.
  • S4S (Surfaced Four Sides) for fully prepped, ready-to-use stock.
  • Custom long-length flooring available in multiple species.
